Our aim is to get you riding! Sometimes that just means the turn of a bolt and you're back on the trails. There are other exciting times when you need a service, new equipment or a new bike! We are here to help, and enjoy nothing more than a bike going out of the store running perfectly.

Trailhead Bike Co. expert staff listen to your needs and suggest the most suitable bikes and equipment. We have a wide range of stock in our shop and can order in almost any other product for fast delivery and fitting.

Here is an overview of some of the riding styles and bike classifications we consider when discussing your next shiny investment. There is nothing better than riding the most suitable bike.

Mountain Bike

Located in mountain bike mecca means we are on top of all the latest designs and trends in mountain bikes. We stock mountain bikes from GT, Cannondale, Mongoose and Norco. This allows us to cover all riding styles and budgets.

The big trend this year is in the 29er category. Cannondale and GT 2012 bikes look race ready and irresistable. Norco remain excellent value for money, you get a great deal of quality product for your dollar. While Mongoose are returning to their world beating roots with really clever rider centred designs.

 

Road

Road cycling is growing every day! We have some of the best loops to ride down here on the coast. Our road commitment is clear, have you seen our huge Cadel sign on the front of the shop, hand painted in a moment of passion post July 2011? Again top end to budget options are all in our store, we'll get you on a nice ride.

Our Cannondale carbon bikes remain the top end pick for serious riders. Both Cannondale and GT have some really well speced options for a lot less price too.

Comments from quite a few of our hardened MTBing fraternity after getting on road bikes for some training: "I thought it would be slow and boring - it's actually fast and exciting."

 

Kids

There is no greater joy than getting kids into bike riding. We'll fit them with the perfect sized and style of bike for them to start rolling and enjoying life on a bicycle.

Mongoose and GT really have this market covered. We also have Apollo in store at the really small sizes. From the smallest 16" bikes to 24" bikes for teenagers we'll have one that is the best fit for you child's riding.

 

Street and Commute

Just want to cruise or commute? Memories of how bikes used to be? How can you go past some of the new (old!) street styles from Schwinn.

Sensational commuting options are also on offer including flat bar road bikes and 29ers from Cannondale, Norco ashfelt and GT/Mongoose retro design. Old school is new school!

BMX

From dirt and race, to street and park, we know BMX because we used to ride them as kids ourselves! It's great to see the resurgence in BMX. It gives kids an outlet for individual flair and keeps them riding.

GT, Mongoose, Forgotten, Stolen are all in our store and offer outstanding ranges for all these disciplines. These bikes are the leaders because the guys who own and design them, still ride BMX. We can also source top end parts from industry leaders like Odyssey, Colony and Sunday!
